About Pixelate Tools

Pixelate Tools turns a picture you already have into a grid you can use: a PNG, a hex list, a stitch chart, a bead plan, a diamond chart, or Nonogram clues.

It runs in your browser. We don't get the file. No account. Saved palettes sit in localStorage until you clear them. Close the tab and the open image is gone; downloads stay on your machine.

Which tool

Want a counted grid PNG? Start on image to pixel art — raise width toward 48 and turn on Floyd–Steinberg for photo studies. Game assets: sprite converter. Swatches only: palette from image.

Handwork pages spit out symbol charts and shopping lists: cross-stitch, fuse beads, diamond painting. Nonogram clues write row and column runs from a silhouette. Those numbers match the filled cells. We don't check for a unique logical solution, and there's no player here — play curated puzzles on NonogramGo.

Color lists

Stitch and diamond codes come from a published floss list. Bead pages can use community-measured Perler, Hama, or Artkal codes (beadcolors, MIT), or a plain reference set with no product codes. Pico-8 is Lexaloffle's sixteen. None of those companies sponsor this site. Hold a real card or bead next to the screen before you buy or ship.

General-audience utility. Not aimed at kids under 13. We don't ask for a name or birthday.
